Stuart is a well-respected West End Musical Director with over 30 years experience of coaching, conducting and accompanying singers and dancers, from complete-beginners to seasoned-professionals.
Among the artists Stuart has coached, conducted, or accompanied are Andy Williams, Petula Clark, Tom Jones, Lee Evans, Gareth Gates, John Barrowman, Elaine Paige, Phillip Schofield, and even Miss Piggy!
Shows he has conducted in the West End, and on tour, include Brigadoon, Chess, South Pacific, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Joseph…, Sunset Boulevard, Martin Guerre, Showboat, CATS, Riverdance, The Producers, and Chicago.
And, as an arranger/orchestrator, Stuart’s works have been performed on BBC-TV and in major UK concert halls (including the Royal Albert Hall) and across America in venues such as Carnegie Hall.
In addition to teaching privately, Stuart has coached students at the Arts Educational School, the London Studio Centre, and the Royal Academy of Music.
